Hounslow Police – Community Message

As we enjoy the sparkle and excitement of Bonfire Night, your local police team would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable evening. Fireworks can be a wonderful tradition, but they also come with responsibilities.

Here are a few important reminders to help keep our communities safe:

🔥 Fireworks & the Law

It is illegal to set off fireworks in the street, public places, or parks.

Fireworks must only be used on private property with the landowner’s permission.

It is against the law for anyone under 18 to possess fireworks in public.

Fireworks must not be set off between 11pm and 7am, except on Bonfire Night (extended to midnight).

🐾 Think of Others

Please be mindful of pets, young children, and vulnerable residents who may find fireworks distressing.

Let neighbours know if you’re planning a display and keep noise to a minimum where possible.

👮 Community Safety

Officers will be on patrol this evening to ensure everyone can enjoy the night safely.

If you witness anti-social behaviour or unsafe use of fireworks, please report it via 101 or 999 in an emergency.
